Over the past two and a half years, Afro Icons have launched successful music initiatives built around their iconic brand and incredible artists. Not to mention the initiatives that have reinvigorated the Afrobeats fan base and the global music community as a whole. Iconic Records is the next major step in contributing to the evolution of collaborative artist partnerships.
Iconic Records will work with Afrobeats artists to produce, record and promote their music to African Diaspora fans around the world. “Launching a record company to serve our artists is the natural evolution of our history. We will work with artists to capture, record and promote their music in an artist-friendly partnership,” said Nii Yalley, President of Afro Icons Brand. “Iconic Records will keep us all in our ‘artist first’ culture to ensure we maintain our commitment and connection to music. We are thrilled to launch Iconic Records and will be announcing a partnership with Universal Music soon.”
