1/7 All things big and small: Menswear brand Jacamo last week hosted a diverse parade celebrating different body types at the Haymarket Hotel in London. The show took place in the pool and the models “walked the water” wearing a summer collection of printed shorts, shirts and light blazers.
2/7 Best foot forward: Drapers’ Emily Sutherland (left) joined shoe designer Maxine Wille, founder of high-end shoe brand Maxine, at Marylebone’s AOK restaurant last week to celebrate the brand’s collaboration with the style site & Finally. The collection brings a new twist to classic shoe styles, including original sculptural ankle details and heels. You can have breakfast in the flowery setting of the restaurant.
3/7 New Departures: To celebrate the opening of French Connection’s new flagship product in Mayfair, Katie Imms (pictured right) of Drapers (pictured right) and Jill Geoghegan attended the launch party last week, where they attended met with its general manager of retail and e-commerce Simon Donoghue. Guests sipped gin cocktails as they explored the new concept store, which features exclusive merchandise, a photo studio, housewares space, and a cafe.
4/7 One hell of a racket: BrandAlley had a wonderful afternoon at the Roehampton Club for their annual summer party this week. Grace Whelan of Drapers (left) joined Wimbledon champion Pat Cash and BrandAlley general manager Rob Feldmann (pictured) to enjoy pimms and croquet in the Sunken Garden.
5/7 Fly High: Drapers’ Emily Sutherland traveled to Harvey Nichols to celebrate the launch of French brand Maison Labiche and vodka brand Gray Goose, who collaborated on a limited edition collection inspired by the French Riviera. The founder of Maison Labiche, Marie Welté, and co-owner Jean-Baptiste have embarked on the design of a bottle for the beverage brand. Guests enjoyed Gray Goose cocktails and had the option to customize their own T-shirts.
6/7 Love is in the air: Fashion retailer Quiz has teamed up with payment provider Klarna to host a final party for the ITV2 reality show Love Island. Guests included former contestants Ellie Brown and Laura Anderson (pictured), as well as Made in Chelsea’s Tiffany Watson. The event took place on the pop-up beach in Fulham, Neverland, and included a live screening, cocktails and a DJ set.
7/7 Centennial Celebration: Drapers joined Huntsman’s Head Cutter and Creative Director Campbell Carey for a suitably stylish lunch to celebrate his 100th birthday on Savile Row. Campbell unveiled the tailor’s new service, Bespoke 100, and gave guests a preview of the new fall women’s collection during a three-course meal at the Savile Row store.
