Eat Your Own Ears launches a label |

To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Eat Your Own Ears have launched a brand new label, Eat Your Own Ears Recordings, in partnership with Virgin Records.

With their first signing BLOODMOON ready to share music very soon, they will also be releasing a compilation album later this year, featuring a mix of old, new, live, unreleased and previously unreleased tracks from artists including Four Tet, Metronomy, Neneh Cherry, Sylvan Esso, Andrew Bird, Caribou, Anna Calvi, Mount Kimbie, RIDE, Floating Points and TYSON, and more to be announced.

“I’ve always wanted to start a label, but I’ve never been able to find the time or the space to figure out how to go about it,” says co-founder and manager Tom Baker. “After a chance encounter with an artist manager friend while running along the canal in Hackney Marshes, I was introduced to the legendary Jim Chancellor, MD of Virgin Music Label and also Fiction Records, after some lockdown zooms, Eat Your Own Ears Recordings was born.

“We are very excited to bring you some very special music from our first signing BLOODMOON (more to come…), Lucy and I are currently creating an Eat Your Own Ears compilation album from artists we have been working with. have worked over the years, as it is important to us to continue to celebrate our musical eclecticism which we hope to bring to Eat Your Own Ears Recordings, and is very much in line with the diverse roster of artists we promote and have promoted at over the years, so it will be a mix of exclusive new tracks, previously unreleased tracks, and tracks from past, present, and future artists on the EYOE roster.
