Extinction AD announces new single, album and label

I love it when the good people I love team up with other good people I love, and so it happened with New York neo-thrashers Extinction AD, who just announced a partnership with Unique’s long-standing extreme metal label. Leader.

The label and the group will release a new EP, Chaos, collusion, carnage and propaganda, in November, and they just unveiled their debut single, “Chaos,” a one-minute 51-second hit of the hard-hitting thrash that Extinction AD has built its brand on for the past few years. And while we generally associate Unique Leader with death metal – the technical and more brutal side of it, the team makes perfect sense in that Extinction AD is just as relentlessly punishing as any band from. the label list. “Chaos” is proof of this.

The group comments on the signature and the new material:

“We are extremely excited to be working with Unique Leader Records. We may have cut our teeth in the hardcore and punk world and we will always feel we belong, but the metal world is our home and it’s a big step in the right direction for us.

“While the music world stood still during the COVID lockdown, the real world has evolved in so many crazy ways and that’s what spawned this EP. People have shown their true faces, corporate and authoritarian powers have exerted more control, lives have been lost, brains have been softened, and tension and anger have risen. It made us sound even more visceral than ever on Chaos, Collusion, Carnage, and Propaganda.

Jam “Chaos” below! Chaos, collusion, carnage and propaganda comes out on November 5; pre-order here.

Extinction AD will be playing an EP on November 6 at Amityville Music Hall in Amityville NY, featuring Dying Wish, Lich King, Loss Becomes and Electrocutioner. Also find the group on tour in the United States in November / December with Exhorder, Take Offense and Plague Years.
