Jade Thirlwall is said to be in talks with a record company to launch a solo career.
Rumors of a Little Mix hiatus circulated after Jessy Nelson left the band last year and Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock became moms this summer.
But the fourth member, Jade, 28, is reportedly considering her own music as the next step.
The star has reportedly been in talks with Atlantic Records to release new music, the label which also represents artists such as Ed Sheeran, Rita Ora and Lizzo.

A music insider told The Sun that Jade had “worked really hard” on her new music and the new tracks “sounded amazing.”
They said: “Jade has met Sony before to discuss things, but has been really impressed with Atlantic – and everything indicates that she is accompanying them.
“She’s had top-secret talks with them and it’s all really positive.”
The source also claimed that it was common knowledge that Little Mix was planning a hiatus next year and that it was “not surprising” that Jade was planning solo music as her next move.
OKAY! has contacted representatives for Jade Thirlwall for comment.
However, despite some of the group pursuing other plans, Jade previously refuted any rumors that Little Mix was considering going their separate ways.
Talk to Gay time, she said: “I think whatever happens, Little Mix will always be around. I think over the last couple of years we’ve started to take an interest in our own little things. see.
Jade continued, “I think in the beginning, during the first few years, we were all terrified of doing something for ourselves. One, because you get so used to having each other and two, you know what the press looks like, the minute a person does something, they say, “Oh, what’s going on?” “
The brunette admitted that as a result, the three were “afraid that one of us would do anything individually.”
However, it was “really lovely actually” when they started to branch out and pursue things on their own as well as their Little Mix commitments as they wanted to show the audience “a little bit more about themselves individually”.
Jade said the three have “really managed to strike the right balance” over the past year and will want the other to “win”.
Jade added, “There was no doubt in our mind that we would continue to three. Obviously we are so glad we did, because what a year we have had and will continue to have years and years to come. . “
Little Mix recently released a hit album titled Between Us to mark its tenth anniversary.
During this time, Leigh-Anne presented a BBC documentary on colorism and race, while Perrie launched her own clothing brand, Disora.
