My Nu Leng Announces New Platform and Label, Wavelengths – News

Mainstays of the My Nu Leng scene have announced the news of a brand new online platform and record label, Wavelengths.

The new platform includes the pair’s namesake label, a merchandise store, gig listings, as well as a new monthly “Wavelengths residency” at Thekla in Bristol.

Names already confirmed to perform at the residency include Krust, Red light, Baby TJay Carder and special request.

The wavelengths arrive as the Bristol duo celebrate 11 years together, with promises to be full of ‘stubborn selectors, anything goes, lively, moving and rowdy with unexpected guests’.

The duo promised a selection of releases under the “techno, drum ‘n’ bass and everything in between” umbrella.

The first version, in the purest style “Leng, is their new single”That sound with Dread MC and Kaya‘, a tribute to their signature breakbeat and dub, paired with juxtaposed vocals from Dread and Kaya.

My Nu Leng is also teaming up with streetwear brand Parlez for the launch of Wavelengths for a merchandising capsule collection, consisting of a drop each month around the brand’s current residency/label drops.
