ISG (formerly known as i-Stage Group) recently took over the former Jupiter Center of the North East Business and Innovation Center (NE BIC) north of the Sunderland River.
And performance and event experts plan to turn the space into a specially designed ISG Hub, which they say will not only benefit the artists and creatives working within the company, but also provide space for actors. the arts and culture sector of the region.
The renovation will include the creation of rehearsal spaces, a state-of-the-art recording studio, a multimedia room and dance studios, as well as meeting and conference rooms.
While the ISG Hub will provide invaluable space for artists and the production team within the company – including its record label and publishing division, ISG Global – venues will also be available to rent for creative professionals and groups from across the region and beyond.
Work has already started on the project and is expected to be completed in early 2022.
Paul Waite, Founder and CEO of ISG, believes the space will be an asset for artists of all skill levels.
